Just a quick note as it's 6:30am and I still didn't had my first coffee.. He spent most aof the day yesterday in Phoenix and I still wonder why. It's just another big, rather huge, city in the US. He drove to downtown on Sunday afternoon and it looked similar to Mechelen : empty and boring. 
Very existed finally to leave to the South Rim , leaving Phoenix and the day earlier Palm Springs, behind. Finally yesterday we found a simple American style Food House where Maricris could have here mushed patatoes and the gravy sause (tried it aswell, just not too much as I believe it's a killer to my cholesterol level)
